Throughout the 1980s, I read a lot of political and spy thrillers. Many of them were written by Robert Ludlum, a couple from John LeCarre and others. In the late 80s I discovered the November Man from Bill Granger.
Over the next decade I read November Man novels.
I enjoyed them all! The love of these books ultimately led me to Brad Thor‘s Scott Harvath and Vince Flynn‘s Mitch Rapp‘s novels.
Granger also wrote under the pseudonyms Joe Gash and Bill Griffith. He worked at the Chicago Tribune and other Illinois newspapers. Granger suffered a stroke in 2000 that ended his writing career. He passed away in 2012.
