To Master Your Domain Kundalini Kriya rekindles thoughts of starting Kundalini again!
This morning I just didn’t feel like doing a 20-30 minute dance-cardio workout. Instead I decided to do an old Kundalini Kriya. The Kriya that I chose was “To Master Your Domain”.
I haven’t done any Kundalini yoga for a long while. Many years ago Kundalini was the main form of yoga that I did. Kundalini is different from many other forms of yoga,at least in my opinion, in that the Kriya are more physically challenging.Additionally there is more recitation of mantras and meditation. Many of the tenets of Sikhism are the way I live my life. And really that is what Kundalini Yoga and Sikhism are a way of life. When I was practicing Kundalini I became a vegetarian. I also did a lot more meditating and exercises that focused on my breathing. Overall it was a good experience and one that I should probably revisit.
While I am not really a full vegetarian I haven’t been eating a lot of meat. I do eat pork chops and occasionally dishes that include chicken. Lately I have been eating a lot of Indian vegetarian dishes for lunch and dinners more often than not are some type of fish, mashed cauliflower or sweet potatoes and a vegetable.
