The reason that I haven’t posted much this weekend, is that it has been a busy one. First, I worked at Target on Friday night, then we had a picnic to celebrate my son Peter and daughter Elizabeth’s graduations. So Saturday we were running around in the morning and early afternoon getting ready for the party and then had the picnic in the late afternoon through the night. Sunday morning was recovery and shopping and then work from 3 to 10:30 at Target and now I’m back to work at my regular job this morning!! So I sat down this morning and looked at the birthdays and there are none from 1946 to 1961, that does not bode well for a boomer who usually writes about the people who were born during those years!!!

He commented that he would always discover a new band like Styx or Foreigner, so them to his Dad only to have his dad pull out his vinyl copies of their early albums!!

He told me I should listen to Gingerpig and Sound of Contact. I did yesterday and liked both of them! I think I prefer Gingerpig after the first listen, but hey, it’s Anyway, after a while I went over and sat next to my son Andrew and we started talking about Prog Roc, he said he had seen Pathosray in Atlanta several years ago and yes he does have all the Pendragon albums. Yes, we boomers have seen a lot of changes, and I think that those changes and our ability to adapt to new technology, may have helped along the way to close that generation gap and bring parents and children closer together! What do you think!
