Over the years I have listened to some New Age music. At night, when I remembered, I would listen to Echoes on WXPN in Philadelphia. Most times, however, I forgot to listen Anyway, over the last several years, I have been listening to more and more New Age, particularly when I am doing my morning yoga, or when meditating. It is used by listeners for yoga, massage, meditation,[1]reading as a method of stress management[2] to bring about a state of ecstasy rather than trance,[3][4]or to create a peaceful atmosphere in their home or other environments, and is associated with environmentalism and New Age spirituality.

Probably one of the first New Age musicians whose music found its way into my music library was R Carlos Nakai. I really love his music whether it’s solo flute music or as a duo with pianist Peter Kater. I would say that the three sub genres that I listen to most of the time are: meditation music, Native American, and solo instrumental music. The solo instrument, most times, is acoustic guitar or piano.
