The Six Books on My March – April “To Be Read” Pile
So my last post was Part 1 of 2 concerning my library “to be read” pile. Post 2 was to deal with the order I was going to read the eight books that I now have out of the library. At the time I was already reading two books from the pile, Cutting Edge by Ward Larsen and Dark Sky from mike Brooks.

How to Tackle My March-April “to be read” pile – Part 1
So over the last several weeks new books have become available at my library. As a result I have been swapping out books, returning some books read, others have been returned unread. The unread ones were returned because I know I won’t get to them now. The bottom line is I now have eight books on my “to be read” pile from the library. Here is a rundown of the books starting with the books I’m currently reading.

Victim Without a Face is the first book in the Fabian Risk series from Swedish writer Stefan Ahnhem. I stumbled across this series when I was in the library last week.I found it was, when I was looking through the new releases, and the book , The 9th Grave caught my eye.

.So when I listened to “St. Vincent De Paul.” the first track on Ed Romanoff‘s self-titled debut album for the second time on my four mile run tonight, it reminded me of Mary Gauthier‘s album The Foundling. Wait you listened to the song twice! I thought this album must be very short! But, no the run was really long! The ten track album clocks in at about 40 minutes, at which point, I was still a little way from my finish and was struggling along at about 11 minute per mile pace
The Cage by Bob Holroyd – Let’s Everything In!
The Cage – Bob Holroyd -U.K. Multinstrumentalist
Sometimes an album just strikes the right chord with you! Such is the case with The Cage the new release from U.K. master sound manipulator and musical space-shaper Bob Holroyd. The first time I listened to the album, I knew it was for me. Subsequently it has been the soundtrack for my morning yoga and meditations. And every time I listen to it I hear something new!
Great Progressive Metal from Poland – Art of Illusion
Cold War of Solipsism – Art of Illusion – Progressive Metal – Poland
One of the Progressive Rock (Prog Rock) albums that I have been enjoying over the last several weeks is Cold War of Solipsism from Art of Illusion.
One of the aspects I love about Prog Rock is that it is a world-wide genre. Prog Bands come from it seems almost every country in the world. And an example is Art of Illusion who hail from Poland that hotbed of Prog Poland ( no sarcasm intended).
The Sinister Pig – Tony Hillerman – Another Visit with an Old Favorite
Another The Sinister Pig – Tony Hillerman
So I have read almost all of the books in the Jim Chee – Joe Leaphorn series. However, the last Tony Hillerman book I read was in 2000, when I read Hunting Badger (Book #14)!The Sinister Pig (Book #16) in the series has probably been on my bookshelves unread for about 5 years or more. Since one of my reading challenges for 2018 is to read 25 books that are on my TBR shelves and specifically books from series that I have not read for years, choosing The Sinister Pig was a no-brainer.
