So I have this habit that when I hear certain names a special songs pop into my head. For example, when I am introduced to someone named Jennifer, my mind zooms to Tom Paxton’s song written for his first daughter Jennifer – “Jennifer’s Rabbit” Oh and if I am introduced to a Kate or Katy my mind goes to the song Tom wrote for his other daughter Katy!

The Run -Four Miles
This morning was a running day. My last run was a 3.1 mile run on Sunday. Today I decided I would run a four mile course. I chose an out and back course that I call Creek Out and Back. I have been running over this course for many years I like it because it’s fairly flat and I get to run along the Rancocas Creek for a short way. Only problem is that I only get to really see the create in the winter and early spring.

Last night with a football game that was out of control and the Flyers game over, I was looking for so etching to watch.i stumbled upon The Sixties Produced by CNN. I watched the first episode titled Television Comes of Age. And that’s one thing television certainly did in the 60s. TV went from a novelty in the 50s to an intricate part of our culture in the Sixties.

Once again I am apologising for not posting more! Last week I started a self-help book title indistractable: How to Control Your Attention and Chose Your Life. The title of the book written by Nir Eyal intrigued me because controlling my attention, something that I struggle with mightily. I actually believe that I have ADHD! Anyway I finished the book yesterday and I think I have picked up many good ideas that I can implement to improve my life.

So sometimes as a runner you have to plan around of activities. Today I wanted to run but I also knew I wanted to do a load of laundry at the laundromat and make a trip to Trader Joe’s. I also wanted to be home before the Eagles game at 1:00.
